6:05 am
we've got this huge dip in the jet stream, basically affecting right now the northern plains. but as we go through the next couple of days, you can see the cold air starts to spread eastward. in fact, in chicago, we are looking for temperatures to take a turn for the worse. we're going from 60s today, nice and comfortable, down into the 40s for high temperatures. so that means it's really cold in the morning. tomorrow, topping out only around 45 degrees after starting off at 27 tomorrow morning. so bundling up at the bus stop for sure. and then on tuesday, about 44 degrees. naturally, since that's moving into the midwest today, it will move into the northwest -- or the northeast, rather, as we go into the next couple of days. the nice warm fall we've seen so far in new york city will come to an end as well. craig? >> all right. fall officially here, dylan. thank you. we'll have the full forecast in a few minutes. enthusiastic crowd for hillary clinton on saturday. the former secretary of state back, making her first campaign

6:11 am
>> so -- so should the subtext of that be, we'll be here again fairly shortly? >> there's no question we'll be here again, because washington -- congress -- has not decided to turn in the term paper early, ever. that's why you have the deadlines put in place. but i do think the pursuit will be for some kind of smaller deal rather than something really grand. >> all right, david. nice to see you. we'll check in with you again with a preview of "meet the press." time for a look at the top stories. good to see you. >> good morning, craig. good morning, everyone. a man has been arrested in new york's kennedy airport for packing a collection of knives in his carry-on bag. a spokesman for the new york and new jersey port authority police said 29-year-old timothy shievo was carrying a blade with knuckles attached. he was charged with criminal possession of a weapon. two transit workers are dead this morning after they were hit by a san francisco bay area commuter train.
